The song is from an upcoming short film by the same name. The film is also directed by the singer of this song, Hayley Kiyoko. According to the IMDB page, "Girls Like Girls" the film, set to debut sometime this year, follows "two teenage girls who test the waters of their relationship to the disapproval of a jealous boyfriend."
